  MAN выиграла конкурс на поставку метанольного двигателя для контейнеровоза

  Компания MAN Energy Solutions получила заказ на поставку первого в мире низкоскоростного двухтопливного двигателя, работающего на метаноле в контейнерном сегменте, говорится в сообщении компании. Отмечается, что Hyundai (HMD) построит судно вместимостью 2100 TEUs в Корее для A. P. Møller-Maersk, глобального интегратора контейнерной логистики, в то время как HHI – EMD, которая уже имеет опыт работы с двигателями LGIM (8 работающих двигателей и 12 строящихся двигателей для перевозчиков метанола), построит двигатель типа MAN B&W 6G50ME-LGIM (- метанол для впрыска жидкого газа) также в Корее. Двигатель будет соответствовать уровню III.
  
  Контейнеровоз станет первым грузовым судном, работающим на метаноле, которое не перевозит метанол в качестве груза. Mærsk также объявила, что новое судно будет работать на зеленом метаноле с использованием биотоплива. Судно должно вступить в строй в 2023 году и будет курсировать по сети Sealand Europe компании Maersk - Балтийскому судоходному маршруту между Северной Европой и Ботническим заливом.

  MAN Energy Solutions заявляет, что ME-GI регистрирует более 1,7 млн часов работы только на СПГ, в то время как платформа ME-LGI накопила более 110 тыс. часов работы на двойном топливе.
