  HMM испытает систему улавливания углерода на своем контейнеровозе

  Собранный углерод будет сжижаться в резервуаре под давлением

  Судоходная HMM планирует во втором полугодии 2023 года провести эксплуатационные испытания бортовой системы улавливания углерода, разработанной специально для контейнеровозов. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба компании.

  Ранее HMM совместно с компанией PANASIA, в рамках подписанного в сентябре 2022 года соглашения, провели технико-экономическое обоснование системы улавливания OCCS для оснащения ею в будущем многоцелевого судна. Было установлено, что данная система может быть смонтирована на борту без каких-либо изменений имеющегося оборудования и без снижения стабильности работы. При этом собранный углерод будет сжижаться в резервуаре под давлением.

  В конце 2023 года HMM установит систему улавливания на свой контейнеровоз. В проекта также задействована Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), которая совместно с PANASIA отвечает за инженерную поддержку.

  Кроме того HMM решила также заменить гребные винты у шести контейнеровозов на более эффективные, специально разработанные для медленного хода. Замена запланирована на 2024 году, и HMM ожидает повышение на 8-9% энергоэффективности каждого судна.
