  Van Wijngaarden Marine Services заказала у Damen свое первое многофункциональное судно серии Multi Cat 3013

  Голландский оператор вспомогательного флота и поставщик морских услуг Van Wijngaarden Marine Services разместила свой первый заказ у судостроительной компании Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld (входит в группу Damen Shipyards) на поставку многофункционального судна проекта Damen Multi Cat 3013, говорится в пресс-релизе Damen.

  Судно получит имя KILSTROOM и пополнит флот компании, находящейся в семейной собственности, в котором до сих пор было пять буксирных судов неограниченной навигации серии Shoalbuster, также производства Damen Shipyards Group.

  MultiCat являются крепкими, надежными и многофункциональными судами, оборудованными двумя мощными гидравлическими кранами, кранцами из покрышек по бортам, имеющими широкий угол обзора, просторную грузовую палубу и небольшую осадку. Суда идеально подходят для эксплуатации в прибрежных районах и на шельфе для поддержки строительства, обслуживания морских объектов и других операций.

  30-метровая модель Multi Cat 3013 является одной из самых больших в линейке с тяговым усилием в 38 тонн. Судно KILSTROOM будет оснащено также системой динамического позиционирования и другим дополнительным функционалом.

  Контракт на поставку судна был подписан 15 августа 2019 года генеральным директором Van Wijngaarden Marine Services Вимом Ван Вингаарденом и её управляющим директором Петером Ван Вингаарденом и Джосом Ван Вуркумом, управляющим директором Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld.

  Нидерландская компания Damen создана в 1927 году. В настоящее время международная судостроительная группа Damen Shipyards Group (головной офис - г. Горинхем) объединяет 34 судостроительных и судоремонтных верфей по всему миру. Общая численность персонала составляет 12 тыс. человек (3,5 тыс. - в Нидерландах). На сегодняшний день на верфях группы построено более 6,5 тыс. судов и ежегодно передается в эксплуатацию около 176 новых судов в 100 странах мира. Damen специализируется на строительстве буксиров, катеров, патрульных судов, высокоскоростных судов, грузовых судов, земснарядов, судов для обслуживания морских платформ, судов ЛАРН, фрегатов и мега-яхт.
