  НИС Belgica ошвартовалось в Одесском порту

  Переданное Бельгией судно в ближайшее время получит новое название
  
  

  Научно-исследовательское судно (НИС) Belgica 21 октября 2021 года прибыло в Одесский порт (Украина). Как сообщает пресс-служба Администрации морских портов Украины (АМПУ), судно ошвартовалось у 18-го причала морского вокзала.
  
  В Одессу судно вышло из порта Зеебрюгге 1 октября с украинским экипажем (15 человек) и командой из 16 иностранных ученых на борту. Маршрут был организован и профинансирован международным проектом «Европейский Союз для совершенствования экологического мониторинга Черного моря» (EU4EMBLAS).
  
  По сообщению Украинского научного центра экологии моря (УкрНЦЭМ), при переходе из Северного в Средиземное и далее в Черное море ученые на борту судна отбирали пробы морской воды и донных отложений для скрининга глубин на присутствие загрязнителей и микропластика, анализа распространения и состояния морских микроорганизмов. Для этого на борту НИС Belgica оборудованы 5 действующих лабораторий (рыболовства, гидрологическая, химическая, биохимическая и микробиологическая).
  
  Украина получила НИС Belgica в дар от Королевства Бельгии. 13 сентября на военно-морской базе в г. Зеебрюгге состоялась церемония передачи судна представителям УкрНЦЭМ.
  
  Судно построено в 1984 году, исследовало почти 1 млн км моря и провело более тысячи научных кампаний. Длина НИС составляет 51,12 м, ширина - 10 м, осадка - 4,6 м, водоизмещение - 1200 тонн. Дальность автономного плавания - 20 тыс. морских миль (37 тыс. км) при скорости 12 узлов (22 км /час). Максимальная скорость — 13,5 узлов (25 км/час).
  
  В ближайшее время НИС Belgica получит новое название и будет ходить под украинским флагом с портом приписки - Одесса. В составе базы экспедиционного флота УкрНЦЭМ этот плавучий лабораторный комплекс планируется использовать для проведения научных исследований в Черном и Азовском морях.
