  Доходы Египта от Суэцкого канала в январе 2024 года снизились на 47% — до $428 млн

  За месяц через Суэцкий канал прошли 1 362 судна

  Доходы Египта от Суэцкого канала в январе 2024 года снизились на 46,7% и составили $428 млн (в январе 2023 года — $804 млн). Как сообщается в Telegram-канале Торгового представительства России в Египте, об этом заявил председатель Администрации Суэцкого канала (SCA) Усама Рабиа.

  По итогам первого месяца 2024 года количество судов, пересекших канал, составило 1 362 единицы. При этом в январе 2023 г. через Суэцкий канал прошли 2 155 судов.

  Как сообщало ранее ИАА «ПортНьюс», поступления в бюджет Египта от сборов за проход судов через Суэцкий канал за первые два месяца 2023 / 2024 финансового года увеличились на $203 млн. За весь 2022 / 2023 финансовый год SCA увеличила доход на 35% по сравнению с показателем предыдущего финансового года — до $9,4 млрд.

  Администрация Суэцкого канала (SCA), созданная 26 июля 1956 года, является общественным и независимым юридическим лицом. Администрация отчитывается перед премьер-министром Египта и обладает всеми полномочиями, необходимыми для управления каналом. В своей деятельности она не ограничена законами и нормативами правительства. SCA занимается управлением операциями канала, его эксплуатацией и развитием. К прерогативе администрации относятся принятие и соблюдение правил транзита судов через канал, других правил и нормативов, обеспечивающих бесперебойное функционирование Суэцкого канала.
