    Commercial Port of Vladivostok handled 5.6 million tonnes in 1H’2019, up 12.8% YoY

    In January-June 2019, Commercial Port of Vladivostok (CPV, part of FESCO Transportation Group) handled 5.6 million tonnes of cargo (+12.8%, year-on-year), the stevedoring company says in a press release.

    In the reporting period, transshipment of general cargo grew by 3.5%, year-on-year, to 2.61 million tonnes, containerized cargo – by 14% to 283,800 TEUs, automobiles and special equipment – by 24% to 35,500 units.

    During the first half of the year, the company handled 1,044 vessels, up 5%, year-on-year, and 97,100 rolling stock units, up 15%, year-on-year.

    Commercial Port of Vladivostok PJSC (part of FESCO Transportation Group) is a stevedoring company in the Russian Far East. The Company offers services on transshipment of container/general/bulk/Rо-Rо cargoes. Annual throughput capacity of the port is 5 million tons of general cargo and oil products, 150,000 vehicles and over 600,000 TEU of containerized cargo. Commercial Port of Vladivostok operates 15 berths with a total length exceeding 3.2 km.

    The port services 15 regular international and short-sea lines linking Vladivostok with 8 countries and other regions of Russia’s Far East.
