  Паром «Восточная жемчужина № 6» совершит пробный рейс из Сокчо (Южная Корея) во Владивосток 9 ноября

  Грузопассажирский паром «Восточная жемчужина № 6» совершит первый пробный рейс по маршруту Сокчо – Владивосток – Сокчо 9 ноября 2023 года. Об этом сообщает южнокорейский телеканал KBS. Сообщение на данном направлении было приостановлено в июне 2014 года.

  Изначально рейс был запланирован на 6 ноября, но его пришлось сдвинуть из-за плохой погоды. Судоходная компания JS Shipping планирует провести два-три пробных рейса в ноябре, а затем официально запустить услугу в течение 2024 года, если не возникнет особых проблем. Рейсы между Россией и Южной Кореей будут выполняться два раза в неделю.

  По данным корейских СМИ, паром «Восточная жемчужина № 6» имеет водоизмещение 16 тыс. тонн, длина судна — 167 м. Паром способен перевезти за один рейс 700 пассажиров, 150 TEU грузов и 350 транспортных средств.

  Уточняется, что через порт Сокчо проходит международный маршрут, соединяющий Приморский край России и три северо-восточные провинции Китая. Ранее перевозки на данном направлении осуществляло судно New Blue Ocean компании Stenada Line, однако из-за сложностей с таможенным оформлением, а также из-за ухудшения международных отношений и спада в судоходстве сообщение неоднократно приостанавливалось, а в июне 2014 года было вовсе отменено.
