  SunGas планирует строительство нескольких заводов по производству экологически чистого метанола

  Поддерживая планы Maersk, компания SunGas будет строить несколько производственных объектов в США, которые займутся переработкой отходов леса из экологически чистых источников в «зеленый» метанол, говорится в сообщении компании.

  В рамках своей стратегии по декарбонизации цепочек поставок при транспортировке грузов своих клиентов датская группа компаний A.P. Moller – Maersk (Maersk) подписала соглашение о намерениях с американской компанией SunGas Renewables, Inc., (ранее входила в GTI Energy), специализирующейся в создании технологий и систем оборудования для крупномасштабного производства возобновляемого топлива.

  Таким образом, SunGas станет девятым партнером Maersk в проекте, направленным на ускорение глобального производства «зеленого» метанола.

  Письмо-обязательство касается производства зеленого метанола на нескольких объектах, которые будут создаваться SunGas в США, с которых Maersk намеревается закупать все объемы метанола. По планам, первый завод годовой мощностью около 390 тыс тонн начнет работу в 2026 году.

  Для переработки на предприятиях отходов лесного хозяйства и деревообрабатывающей промышленности из экологически чистых источников в зеленый метанол, SunGas будет использовать свою передовую платформу System-1000.

  SunGas Renewables (головной офис – Хьюстон, шт. Техас) занимается производством экологически чистой энергии и технологическими решениями, которые позволяют преобразовать экологически чистое возобновляемое сырье в водород и монооксид углерода – строительные блоки, необходимые для крупномасштабного производства возобновляемого топлива. SunGas разработала линейку продуктов System-1000 для производства возобновляемого синтез-газа, необходимого для производства водорода, биометана и возобновляемого биотоплива, такого как бензин, дизельное топливо, экологичное авиационное топливо и топливо для морских судов. SunGas играет ведущую роль в процессе декарбонизации отрасли и предлагает свою платформу System-1000 третьим сторонам для производства водорода и биотоплива, а также развивает и инвестирует в предприятия по производству низкоуглеродного биотоплива.
