    Grimaldi заказала пять Ro-Ro судов, которые смогут использовать аммиак в качестве топлива

    Группа заказала в общей сложности 10 морских автовозов вместимостью 9 тыс. CEU

    Итальянский перевозчик Ro-Ro грузов группа компаний Grimaldi в рамках программы увеличения своего флота разместила заказ на строительство пяти специализированных судов для перевозки импортируемых легковых и грузовых автомобилей (PCTC) на китайской верфи в Цзянсу (Jiangsu, входит в China Merchants Heavy Industry), говорится в сообщении проектанта судов Knud E. Hansen.

    Контракт предусматривает опцион на строительство дополнительно пяти аналогичных судов. Стоимость контракта с учетом опциона составляет 1 млрд евро.

    Эти суда вместимостью 9 тыс. CEU (автомобильный эквивалент загрузки судна) были спроектированы для перевозки электроавтомобилей. Суда будут иметь нотацию класса Ammonia-ready от итальянского общества RINA, что означает возможность использования в будущем аммиака в качестве топлива после небольшой модернизации.

    Помимо этого новшества, новые суда будут оборудованы системами из литий-ионных аккумуляторных батарей, солнечными панелями и возможностью подключения к береговым источникам электропитания.

    Также новые экологичные суда будут использовать технологию воздушной смазки подводной части корпуса с оптимизированной конструкцией.

    Первые пять новых судов типа PCTC будут переданы заказчику в период с 2025 по конец 2026 года. Суда будут обслуживать маршруты между Европой, Северной Африкой, Ближним Востоком и Дальним Востоком, обслуживаемые флотом Grimaldi.

    В начале этого года китайский судостроительный завод Jiangsu получил заказ от норвежского оператора Ro-Ro перевозок Höegh Autoliners на строительство восьми судов PCTC класса Aurora (9,1 CEU) с опционом на восемь аналогичных судов. В этом случае суда получили нотацию класса общества DNV для использования в качестве судового топлива аммиака и метанола.
