  Abu Dhabi Ports и канадская компания Robert Allan Ltd. займутся созданием первых в мире автономных буксиров

  Портовый оператор Abu Dhabi Ports (ADPC, Абу-Даби, ОАЭ) 4 марта 2020 года заключил соглашение о сотрудничестве с канадской частной компанией, специализирующейся в проектировании судов, буксиров Robert Allan Ltd. Целью партнерства является разработка первых в мире полностью безэкипажных автономным коммерческих буксиров, говорится в сообщении ADP.
  
  Соглашение о сотрудничестве подписано в рамках проведения заседания Международной морской организации (IMO) в штаб-квартире IMO в Лондоне.
  
  Предполагается, что в будущем буксиры пополнят флот SAFEEN, подразделение Abu Dhabi Ports, оказывающее портовые услуги. Одним из основных преимуществ инновационной конструкции буксиров является расширение эксплуатационных возможностей: отсутствие экипажа на борту позволит управляя таким судном с берега, а также работать в более неблагоприятных погодных условиях. Кроме того, новая технология поможет повысить эффективность и безопасность операций.
  
  Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) является генеральным застройщиком, оператором и менеджером портов и промышленной зоне Khalifa в Абу-Даби. ADPC, была создана в марте 2006 года в рамках реструктуризации коммерческих портов эмирата, и получило в управление все портовые активы, ранее принадлежавшие администрации морских портов Абу-Даби (ADSA). Компания обеспечивает 3,6% роста ВВП города Абу-Даби (не связанного с нефтедобывающей отраслью) и 2,2% рост ВВП всех эмиратов.
  
  Robert Allan Ltd. - старейшее частное морское конструкторское бюро в Канаде (создано в 1930 году в Ванкувере, Британская Колумбия). Компания специализируется на разработке инженерных решений для строительства и конверсии широкого спектра морских судов.
