  «Атомфлот» объясняет необходимость строительства ледоколов на СПГ низкой готовностью отрасли к реализации проекта «ледокол-лидер»

  Строительство четырех ледоколов на СПГ-топливе входит в ближайшие планы развития Северного морского пути (СПМ, Севморпуть) и госкорпорации «Росатом». Как передает корреспондент ИАА «ПортНьюс», об этом рассказал руководитель Дирекции Северного морского пути ГК «Росатом» Вячеслав Рукша, выступивший на расширенном заседании коллегии Росморречфлота 27 марта в Москве.
  
  Целесообразность постройки СПГ-ледоколов мощностью 40 МВт обусловлена рядом обстоятельств.
  
  Как отметил Вячеслав Рукша, во-первых, тип предполагаемых СПГ-ледоколов обусловлен «газовой спецификой» грузовой базы в сегменте работы «Атомфлота».  Во-вторых, планы по постройке ледоколов серии «Лидер», которые теоретически обеспечат бесперебойное функционирование Севморпути, в первую очередь, в районе Восточно-Сибирского моря, требуют больших временных и финансовых затрат. В-третьих, по мнению Рукши, российская судостроительная отрасль не в полной мере готова оперативно реализовать проект самого мощного в мире ледокола (ледокол-лидер). Предполагаемый ранее срок его постройки увеличился с пяти до семи лет.  
  
  Как сообщало ИАА «ПортНьюс» ранее, правительство РФ поручило Минпромторгу России совместно с АО «Объединенная судостроительная корпорация», ООО «ССК «Звезда», Госкорпорацией «Росатом» и ПАО «НОВАТЭК» проработать вопрос о строительстве четырех ледоколов на газомоторном топливе с учетом необходимости их ввода в эксплуатацию до 2023 года. Такое поручение дано по результатам совещания по вопросам развития Арктики, которое председатель правительства РФ Дмитрий Медведев провел 11 декабря 2018 года в поселке Сабетта (Ямало-Ненецкий автономный округ).
