  РС ввел новые классификационные знаки для использования СПГ на судах

  Российский морской регистр судоходства (РС) ввел новые дополнительные знаки символа класса Регистра, связанные с использованием газового топлива на судах GRS и LNGbunkeringship. Об этом на выставке «Нева-2017» корреспонденту ИАА «ПортНьюс» рассказал заместитель начальника отдела механического оборудования и систем РС Владимир Шурпяк.
  
  По словам эксперта, произведя анализ использования газа в качестве топлива на судах мирового флота, РС пришел к выводу, что основными препятствиями для применения СПГ на судах, не являющихся газовозами, являются: технические трудности организации работы  судовых двигателей на газе; отсутствие нормативных документов для безопасного использования; отсутствие  доступной инфраструктуры по бункеровке, а также высокая стоимость переоборудования судна.    
  
  «Если первые два препятствия в основном преодолены – во-первых, появились производители сертифицированных двигателей для работы на СПГ, в том числе малооборотных двигателей внутреннего сгорания. Во-вторых, в настоящее время действуют нормативные документы ИМО(IGFCode) и Регистра (раздел 9 части XVIIПравил РС-2017). Но остальные две причины вызывают серьезные трудности, - пояснил Владимир Шурпяк. – Именно для их преодоления в Правилах РС появились новые классификационные знаки, связанные с использованием СПГ на судах».
  
  Знак LNGbunkeringship введен для обеспечения безопасности при бункеровке СПГ, знак GRS – для уменьшения затрат на переоборудование судов для применения  топлива СПГ.
