  MOL планирует построить буксир на СПГ топливе в рамках проекта экологичных судов нового поколения для Японии ‎(графика)

  Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) объявила о решении компании построить первый буксир на сжиженном природном газе (СПГ) в Японии. Как сообщает пресс-служба компании, судно будет соответствовать Международному кодексу безопасности IGF (январь 2017 года) для судов, использующих газ и других виды топлива с низкой температурой вспышки. Кодекс подлежит рассмотрению Министерством земли, инфраструктуры, транспорта и туризма Японии.‎
  
  Судно будет построено на верфи Kanagawa Dockyard Co. Ltd., в Канагава. Двигатели, работающие на газе, поставит компания Yanmar Co., Ltd. (Осака), само топливо для буксира – компания Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. Судно будет передано в эксплуатацию оператору буксирного флота из г. Кобе Nihon Tug-Boat Co., Ltd.‎

  Планируется, что новый буксир приступит к работе в Осакском заливе в апреле 2019 году. На судне будут установлены производительные двухтопливные двигатели. Это будет первый буксир на СПГ топливе, который будет буксировать крупные грузовые суда в Осакском заливе и внутреннем Японском море. Использование такого судна, по мнению компании, будет способствовать развитию бункеровочных станций для судов в этом заливе.‎

  Буксир будет построен в рамках проекта по разработке технологических решений для обеспечения безопасных операций судов и сокращению вредного воздействии на окружающую среду (Ishin Next - MOL Smart Ship), который был запущен в ноябре 2016 года. Опыт, полученный при разработке проекта буксира, будет использован при реализации проектов строительства различных типов судов нового поколения на СПГ топливе, включая планируемый экологический пассажирский паром (ISHIN-II).
