    Throughput of Big Port St. Petersburg up 6% to 16.79 mln t in 4M’17

    In January-April  2017, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 16.79 mln t of cargo (+6%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 17% to 2.14 mln t, dry bulk cargo – up 17% to 2.64 mln t, transshipment of general cargo – up 3% to 4.03 mln t, transshipment of Ro-Ro cargo – up 41% to 297,900 t.

    The port’s container throughput increased by 8.8% to 7.40 mln TEUs.

    In 2016, the port handled 48.62 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.74 mln TEUs.
