Russian and Indian ship crews practiced operating during encounter battle in course of the final stage of the INDRA NAVY 2016 exercise
In course of the final day of the INDRA NAVY 2016 joint exercise, Russian and Indian ship crews practiced operating during encounter battle, says press center of RF Defence Ministry. According to the scenario of the exercise, opposing ship groupings practiced detecting the simulated enemy and carried out conditional strikes.
Moreover, the Admiral Tributs major anti-submarine ship, Ranvir destroyer and Satpura fregate carried out artillery firing against naval targets.
The servicemen also practiced transporting cargos from the Saptura frigate to the Admiral Tributs warship by the use of the Boris Butoma tanker of the Pacific Fleet.
Ceremonial line-up onboard the Saptura frigate of the Indian Navy and ceremony of departure of the Russian ship detachment was held after the active stage of the exercise.
