On February 4, 2016 the Multipurpose Sea Cargo Complex Bronka (MSCC Bronka), based at Big Port of St. Petersburg hosted a party to present its capabilities to the interested business community. The open house event was attended by over 300 representatives of various transport and the sector companies.

"At this event, we would like not only to present the facility's capabilities to our current and potential customers and partners, but also to thank all the companies that we have served at the new terminal," said Alexei Shukletsov, Executive Director of Fenix (the investor of MSCC Bronka project).

Some companies that have already signed contracts with the new terminal for handling freight received some memorable gifts.
"Inflot has signed with us the first agent contract. The first liner shipping company that signed the agreement was CMA CGM. The first forwarding company is MCT Shipping that also recieved a gift from the port," said Alexei Shukletsov.

Among the companies that have received special gifts were Finnlines, Transfennica, Instar Logistics and TIS Group, and FESCO, which has not yet signed a contract, but has recently made a call to the terminal.

"I believe that each of our partners who came to us first took a certain risk. These companies deserve to be members of our kind of VIP club. Note that this club is not closed and everyone can join it", Shukletsov said.

On January 31, 2016 Port Bronka began to receive regular calls of liner shipping company CMA CGM when the M/V Voronezh docked at Bronka terminal. The container carrier currently operates on the the Group's St. Petersburg Shuttle Service D with the following rotation: Rotterdam - Hamburg - Ust-Luga - St. Petersburg - Rotterdam. Overall, CMA CGM deployed on the service two 1,730teu containerships.

The boxship delivered to Bronka import goods from China and transported Russian export cargo to Rotterdam.

The vessel's next call is scheduled for February 5. The M/V Vladimir will deliver to Bronka container terminal another shipment of cargo.

The Multipurpose Sea Cargo Complex (MSCC Bronka) is located on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, near junction of the Ring Road & Dam and Lomonosov. Port Bronka comprises three dedicated facilities: a container terminal encompassing 107 hectares, the Ro-Ro terminal of 57 ha and a logistics centre of 42 ha. Bronka Container Terminal will have 1.176 m-long quay wall (including 5 berths). The length of Ro-Ro terminal's dock line will be 630 meters (3 berths). After completion of Bronka Phase 1 its capacity will reach 1.45 million TEUs and 260,000 units of Ro-Ro cargoes. In future the MMPK Bronka expansion will help increase the facility's container throughput  to 1.9 million TEUs. Upon completion of the port's construction and dredging to the design mark of 14,4 meters in 2015 MMPK Bronka will be able to accommodate post-Panamax containerships and the ferries of Finnstar class.

The Bronka project is expected to generate 2,300 jobs at its marine terminals alone.

The first liner vessel called to Bronka on September 8, 2015.
