  Rolls-Royce впервые поставит 16-цилиндровую версию двигателя MTU 8000

  Новой моделью двигателей будут оснащены патрульные суда береговой охраны Тайваня

  Один из крупнейших международных производителей двигателей компания Rolls-Royce поставила первые 16-цилиндровые двигатели своей успешной серии mtu 8000. Тайваньская верфь CSBC Corporation установит первые два двигателя 16V 8000 M71L на новые патрульные суда, строящиеся для Тайваньской береговой охраны, говорится в пресс-релизе Rolls-Royce.

  Два двигателя обеспечивают мощность 7 280 киловатт каждый и эксплуатационная скорость этих 1000-тонных судов будет достигать 24 узлов. Всего планируется построить шесть судов этого класса с двигателями mtu, которые будут поставлены к концу 2022 года.

  Уже нашелся второй покупатель, которому Rolls-Royce продала 20 двигателей этой новой модели. При мощности до 10 тыс. киловатт его «старший брат» 20V 8000 был самым продаваемым двигателем в своем классе мощности с тех пор, как он появился на рынке около 20 лет назад.

  Двигатели mtu серии 8000 также устанавливаются на следующие суда Тайваньской береговой охраны: суда класса 4000 тонн будут оснащены 20-цилиндровыми двигателями 20V 8000 M91L.

  Береговая охрана Тайваня осуществляет программу модернизации, в рамках которой к 2027 году планируется построить в общей сложности 141 судно различного тоннажа. Многие из них будут работать на двигателях mtu серий 4000 и 8000.

  Rolls-Royce является ведущим мировым производителем двигателей, энергетических установок для наземного, морского и воздушного транспорта, в морской, энергетической и аэрокосмической отраслях для гражданского и оборонного применения.

  Компания поставила движительные установки для более чем 30 тыс. судов, работающих в шельфовых проектах, торговом судоходстве и оборонной отрасли. Rolls-Royce проектирует и производит дизельные двигатели и газовые турбины, гребные винты, подруливающие устройства, и гидромониторы, а также маневренные и стабилизирующие системы и палубные механизмы. В компании работает более 39 тыс. человек (включая 11 тыс. инженеров) в офисах, производственных и сервисных центрах в более чем 50 странах мира.
