    Балтийская таможня пресекла контрабанду 17 тонн угля для кальяна на судне из Сингапура

    По среднерыночной стоимости общая сумма такой партии кокосового угля составляет не менее 5 млн руб.

     

    Попытку незаконного ввоза кокосового угля для кальяна под видом древесной щепы выявили сотрудники Турухтанного таможенного поста Балтийской таможни по результатам работы системы управления рисками и оперативно-розыскной деятельности. Как сообщила пресс-служба таможни, на таможенный пост на грузовом судне прибыла партия товара из Сингапура. По сведениям, заявленным в коносаменте, в контейнере должна быть «древесная стружка».

     

    В отношении товарной партии сработал риск высокой вероятности заявления недостоверных сведений.

    «В ходе осмотра контейнера с применением инспекционно-досмотрового комплекса были выявлены нехарактерные для структуры товара затемнения. - поясняет начальник Турухтанного таможенного поста Балтийской таможни Максим Овсянников. - При вскрытии 20-футового контейнера вместо древесной стружки таможенники обнаружили 826 картонных коробок с товаром «кокосовый уголь для кальяна». Всего выявлено 17199 кг угля для кальянов».

    По данному факту сообщения в таможенный орган недостоверных сведений о товаре при прибытии на таможенную территорию Евразийского экономического союза Балтийская таможня возбудила административное дело по ч.3 статьи 16.1 Кодекса об административных правонарушениях РФ.

    Балтийская таможня, входящая в состав Северо-Западного таможенного управления, является крупнейшей морской пограничной таможней России. Регион деятельности Балтийской таможни - морской порт Большой порт Санкт-Петербург, многосторонний морской пункт пропуска Пассажирский порт Санкт-Петербург, Кронштадтский район города Санкт-Петербурга, муниципальное образование - г. Ломоносов Петродворцового района г. Санкт-Петербурга. В структуре таможни функционирует семь таможенных постов: Турухтанный, Лесной порт, Кронштадтский, Гавань, Шкиперский, Бронка и Балтийский таможенный пост (ЦЭД). За 2020 год Балтийская таможня возбудила 2598 дел об административных правонарушениях и 51 уголовное дело за нарушение таможенного законодательства.
