JSC “Baltic Shipyard” Yantar “- the only Russian shipyard, which is located in the south-eastern part of the Baltic antifreeze, near the major industrial centers of Europe. This helps to ensure that ships and vessels built at the factory “Amber” contributed military and civilian fleet at any time of the year.

The development strategy of the company includes just four specialized shipbuilding:

• Military shipbuilding.
• Civil shipbuilding.
• Military-technical cooperation.
• Ship repair.

The main share in the order book of “Shipyard” Yantar “traditionally the warships as part of the state defense order (72% in 2013 and 90% in 2014) and the military-technical cooperation (27% in 2013, 10 % in 2014).

With regard to civil shipbuilding, it is also gradually becoming a priority market for the company.
