Murmansk Sea Fishing Port handled 214,800 tonnes of cargo in 10M’2019, down 32.9% Y-o-Y
In January-October 2019, Murmansk Sea Fishing Port JSC handled 214,800 tonnes of cargo, which is 32.9% less, year-on-year, says the stevedoring company.
In the ten-months period, transshipment of fish fell by 13.8% to 164,600 tonnes.
In October, the company's throughput climbed by 9.7% to 23,700 tonnes including 21,120 tonnes of fish (+54.7%).
Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quay side is 4.5 km long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.
