Port of Singapore throughput in Jan-Apr’2019 fell by 1.1% Y-o-Y to 205.72 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-April 2019, fell by 1.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2018 to 205.72 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Handling of oil cargo fell by 0.6% to 73.76 million tonnes, transshipment of dry bulk cargo – down 2% to 5.58 million tonnes.
Container traffic climbed by 0.9% to 11.89 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in the South-East Asia. In 2018, the port handled 630.03 million tonnes of cargo.
